Three Medical Colleges of Odisha govt included in IIRF 2026 Rankings

Bhubaneswar: It is matter of great pride for the Odisha government that three government medical colleges from the state have secured places in the Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) 2026 rankings.

SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack, VIMSAR, Burla, and MKCG Medical College and Hospital, Berhampur are the three Medical Colleges of Odisha which have been included in IIRF 2026 Rankings.

While SCB Medical College and Hospital has emerged as the highest-ranked institution from the state at 15th position nationally, VIMSAR, Burla has secured the 64th position and MKCG Medical College and Hospital ranked 74th.

However, AIIMS Bhubaneswar also has secured the 16th position of the ranking.

The inclusion of the three Medical Colleges of Odisha government is considered as the state government’s efforts to boost the medical education and healthcare sector of the state.
