IOCL Confirms Adequate Fuel Supply Across Odisha
The Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) assured citizens that there is adequate fuel stock across Odisha and appealed to the public not to panic.
IOCL CGM Kamal Sheel urged people to avoid unnecessary queues at petrol pumps and purchase only the required amount of fuel.
Sheel emphasised that all retail outlets have sufficient petrol and diesel. He requested citizens not to believe in rumours.
The Utkal Petroleum Dealers’ Association also confirmed that fuel supply continues to all petrol pumps across the state. Association General Secretary Sanjay Lath said that replenishment will take place on Sunday as well, ensuring uninterrupted distribution.
Officials stated that with regular supply reaching outlets, the situation will stabilise by Monday evening. They reassured the public that there is no shortage and urged restraint in purchasing fuel.
The appeal comes amid reports of panic buying in some areas following recent concerns over fuel availability. Authorities stressed that the supply chain remains intact and that citizens should trust official communication rather than rumours.
