Har Ghar Tiranga campaign begins across Odisha from today

Bhubaneswar: Odisha launches ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign today and will continue till August 17 to encourage residents to hoist the national flag at their homes and foster a sense of patriotism.
The campaign is organised under the aegis of the Odisha Department of Odia Language, Literature and Culture, with participation of people from various districts.
As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga programme, an elaborate state-level Tiranga Yatra is scheduled from Hatiasuni ground to Lumbini Vihar today.
Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari, School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond, MLA Babu Singh and Ashrit Pattnaik, among others, reached the programme and participated in the event.
Meanwhile, 44.40 lakh national flags have been arranged for the campaign and Tiranga Yatra.
People have been appealed to hoist the tricolour at their respective homes and make this mission successful.
The statewide campaign will be implemented till August 17 under the direction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi.
