Indian Stock Markets Extend Winning Streak for Fifth Consecutive Session

The Indian stock market maintained its positive momentum for the fifth consecutive trading session, with key benchmark indices ending higher on Wednesday.

The BSE Sensex advanced 384 points, registering a gain of 0.50 per cent, to finish at 77,301. Meanwhile, the NSE Nifty rose by 150 points, or 0.63 per cent, to close at 23,961.

The broader market also witnessed strong buying activity. The Nifty Midcap 100 index jumped nearly 1.6 per cent, while the Nifty Smallcap 100 index posted an impressive gain of around 2 per cent.
