Heavy Rain Alert for Bihar, MP and Several States

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall in Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, eastern Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal and parts of northeast India till tomorrow.

Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are likely to continue in Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Tamil Nadu during the same period. Similar conditions may prevail over Puducherry, Karaikal, Vidarbha, Gangetic West Bengal and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands over the next two days.
Meanwhile, hot and humid conditions are expected in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Mahe till tomorrow.
Delhi may also receive light rain at a few places during the evening today.
