PM Modi Arrives in Tashkent for Two-Day Uzbekistan Visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Tashkent on for a two-day visit to Uzbekistan aimed at strengthening bilateral relations. He was welcomed by Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and laid a wreath at Yangi Uzbekistan Park.

During the visit, both leaders will review cooperation in trade, investment, defence, energy, digital connectivity, education and people-to-people ties. They are also expected to discuss their development visions—Viksit Bharat 2047 and Uzbekistan-2030.

PM Modi is also likely to visit the Lal Bahadur Shastri Memorial and the Mahatma Gandhi Centre in Tashkent.
