India Emerging as a Key Driver of Global Growth: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that India is increasingly being recognised worldwide as a strong engine of economic growth amid growing global concerns over the economy and availability of resources.
Speaking at the Economic Times World Leaders Forum in New Delhi, PM Modi said the government is taking several measures to maintain the country’s growth momentum. He emphasised that reforms remain a key priority of his government.

The Prime Minister highlighted the shift towards the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme, saying it is helping boost manufacturing, investment and employment opportunities. He also said the government is working to bring about broader changes in policies and regulations rather than making limited amendments.
PM Modi further underlined India’s commitment to global cooperation and a shared future. Referring to India’s G20 Presidency, he recalled the theme “One Earth, One Family, One Future.”

He said recent global developments have demonstrated that the progress and future of nations are closely interconnected. According to the Prime Minister, cooperation, shared responsibility and a collective approach are essential to tackling the major challenges facing the world.
