IMD Issues Dense Fog Warning for Four Odisha Districts

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast dense fog conditions at isolated places in four districts of Odisha over the next two days and issued a yellow warning.
According to the regional weather office, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Kendrapara, and Bhadrak districts are likely to experience dense fog on January 29 and January 30. The weather alert cautions that visibility may drop significantly, particularly during the early morning hours.

“Dense fog very likely to occur at isolated pockets in the districts of Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Kendrapara and Bhadrak,” the IMD stated in its forecast for the two days.
Residents and commuters have been advised to exercise caution while travelling, especially during morning hours, as reduced visibility could affect road traffic and transportation. Authorities may also issue local advisories if conditions intensify.
