Revenue Minister Inaugurates Development Projects Worth Rs 4 Crore in Jharsuguda

Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari inaugurated and laid foundation stones for multiple development projects in Jharsuguda district, emphasising education, infrastructure, and welfare initiatives.
At a grand event in Loisingha Bhoimunda, the minister inaugurated 34 projects worth Rs 2.34 crore and laid foundation stones for 22 projects worth Rs 2.56 crore. He highlighted the government’s commitment to public welfare and announced that every high school in gram panchayats will be upgraded into +2 colleges. In the first phase, 38 schools, including Rajpur High School, will undergo transformation.
Pujari also declared that by the end of this year, all landless poor families in the district will receive four decimals of land to build houses. He stressed that proposals submitted by sarpanchs for local development will be implemented immediately.
The minister assured that sports grounds will be developed by January, and road connectivity will be improved to provide better transport facilities. He emphasised that education, health, and welfare schemes will reach grassroots levels, making Brajarajnagar and Jharsuguda model regions in Odisha.
The event was attended by District Collector Kunal Motiram Chavan, Chief Development Officer Bishwaranjan Nayak, Panchayat Samiti Chairperson Chitreni Patel, Zilla Parishad member Jharna Sagar, and several sarpanchs and officials. Group Development Officer Anil Kumar Acharya coordinated the program.
