Odisha Government Effects Major IAS Reshuffle, Four Senior Officers Get New Assignments

Bhubaneswar, Nov 5: The Odisha government on Thursday effected a major reshuffle in the senior IAS cadre, assigning new responsibilities to four senior officers.

According to a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department, Bishnupada Sethi (1995-batch IAS) has been appointed Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the department. He was serving as Chairman of the Odisha Forest Development Corporation with additional charge of Chief Administrator, KBK.

Girish S.N. (2002-batch IAS), previously Commissioner-cum-Secretary of the Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department, has been appointed Commissioner-cum-Secretary of the Health and Family Welfare Department.

Similarly, Aswathy S. (2003-batch IAS), who was heading the Health and Family Welfare Department, has been posted as Special Secretary, Finance Department. She will continue to hold additional charge as CEO of SITI-Odisha.

Meanwhile, Roopa Mishra (2004-batch IAS), on her return from central deputation, has been appointed Commissioner-cum-Secretary of the Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department.

The notification was issued by order of the Governor.
