Odisha Clears 37 Industrial Proposals, Focus on MSMEs and Faster Project Execution

The Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO) has approved 37 project proposals to accelerate industrial growth and improve the ease of doing business in the state.
The Land Allotment Committee, chaired by IDCO Chairperson Usha Padhee, cleared 24 land proposals for major industrial projects and 13 proposals focused on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

The approvals are expected to speed up project implementation, generate local employment and strengthen industrial and supply-chain networks. IDCO is also carrying out field inspections in Khordha, Cuttack and Kalinga Nagar to assess land development, master planning, power and water supply, connectivity, freight facilities and other infrastructure.
Officials said the focus is also on worker-friendly and safe infrastructure, including facilities for women employees, to ensure approved projects move quickly from clearance to actual implementation.
