IMD Issues Nowcast Alert for Rain, Thunderstorms in Four Odisha Districts

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning for parts of Odisha, forecasting light rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms at isolated locations in four districts over the next three hours.

According to the weather bulletin released at 7:00 pm on Sunday, the districts likely to experience the weather activity are Dhenkanal, Bhadrak, Cuttack, and Khordha.

The IMD has advised residents in the affected areas to remain cautious, keep track of the latest weather updates, and avoid unnecessary outdoor activities during the forecast period. People have also been urged to take appropriate safety measures, as weather conditions may change rapidly.
