Fire breaks out at SBI ATM near Belpahar Railway gate in Jharsuguda

Jharsuguda :  The State Bank of India (SBI) ATM located near Belpahar railway gate in the Jharsuguda district of Odisha caught fire on early Monday morning.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

However, it was suspected to have started from a short circuit.

As per sources, the locals saw smoke billowing from the ATM in the morning and called up the fire services immediately.

Fire services and security team from TRL Krosaki rushed to the site and started dowsing the fire.

Smoke was seen emanating from the air conditioner inside the ATM room.

Later, the fire service personnel found that it started from the ATM’s battery.

The fire has now been brought under control with no causalities or injuries reported.
