Human Skeleton Found in Cashew Forest, Panic Grips Nayagarh Village

Nayagarh: Panic spread in the Bhapur area under Fategarh police station limits in Nayagarh district after a human skeleton was discovered inside a cashew forest on Tuesday.

According to reports, the skeletal remains, including a skull and several bones, were found in a cashew plantation near Raibereni village under Gola Pokhari panchayat. Local residents first spotted the remains and immediately alerted the police.

The shocking discovery created fear and anxiety among villagers, with many gathering near the spot after the incident came to light.

On receiving information, a team from Fategarh police station reached the area, cordoned off the spot, and initiated an investigation. Forensic experts have also been called to examine the remains and collect evidence from the site.

Police said the identity of the deceased, the duration since death, and the exact cause behind the incident are yet to be determined. A detailed investigation is currently underway, and further information is awaited.
