Husband dies in front of wife in head-on collision between two bikes in Ganjam

Bhanjanagar: In a tragic incident, one man was killed and four other were injured following a head-on collision between two bikes near Jogimari under Bhanjanagr police jurisdiction of Ganjam district on Saturday.

According to sources, the deceased has been identified as a resident of Pantikhari village under Belaguntha police limits.

Sources revealed that the deceased was travelling with his wife and daughter on their motorcycle when they collided with another bike coming from the opposite direction.

Following the incident, the man tragically lost his life, and his wife and daughter remains critical. All the injured have been admitted at the Bhanjanagar hospital for treatment.

On receiving information, police personnel from Bhanjanagar police station reached the spot and seized the two bikes. The police has also initiated an investigation into the incident.
