Fire Breaks Out at Gajapati RTO Office, Server Room Damaged

Paralakhemundi: A fire broke out at the Regional Transport Office (RTO) in Gajapati district on Saturday morning, leaving the office’s server room and several electronic devices damaged.

According to preliminary information, the blaze erupted on the first floor of the RTO building in Paralakhemundi. The fire soon engulfed the server room, where servers and other electronic equipment were kept.

On receiving information about the incident, fire personnel reached the office and began efforts to contain the flames. After a firefighting operation, the blaze was brought under control before it could spread to other sections of the building.

No injuries or casualties have been reported in connection with the incident so far.

Officials suspect that an electrical short circuit could have led to the fire. However, the exact reason behind the incident is yet to be established and will be determined following a detailed investigation.
