Dumper Rams Students in Baleswar
Baleswar: In a heartrending incident, a girl student was killed and two other students sustained critical injuries as a dumper-truck ran over them at Bhograi Nahara chhak in Baleswar district this morning. The deceased has been identified as Anitha Sethi.
According to the information, Anita along with her friends was going on cycles to attend a tuition class when a dumper coming from the backside hit them. Anit reportedly died on the spot. The two injured students have been admitted to a nearby hospital.
Tension ran high in the area as locals blocked the road by burning tyre and sabotaged some public properties. Due to the road blockade, large numbers of vehicles were stranded on both sides of the incident site.
Keeping the tense situation in view, a platoon of the police force has been deployed at the site to ensure that tension doesn’t aggravate further.
