Salman Backs Katrina Amid Trolling, Vicky’s Silence Questioned

Salman Khan has come out in support of Katrina Kaif after the actress faced a wave of body-shaming and online trolling following her recent public appearance during Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.
Katrina attended the festivities with her husband, actor Vicky Kaushal. Soon after pictures from the event surfaced online, some social media users and paparazzi pages made comments about her appearance and weight, with some even taking digs at her career.

Several members of the film industry, including actor Ali Zafar and actress-politician Khushbu Sundar, came forward to defend Katrina. Salman Khan also addressed the issue during Weekend Ka Vaar, criticising the culture of trolling celebrities over their weight, appearance, family background or personal milestones.
While Salman’s comments drew attention, a section of social media users questioned Vicky Kaushal for not publicly responding to the criticism against his wife. Some users said Vicky should have spoken up for Katrina, with a few even suggesting that he could take a cue from Salman’s public support.

However, neither Katrina Kaif nor Vicky Kaushal has made any public statement about the controversy so far. The couple has also not directly addressed the online comments surrounding Katrina’s appearance.
