Denta Mitra App Solves Dental Problems From Homes

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): Denta Mitra is an artificial intelligence Virtual Dentist app. The idea behind the revolutionary app is created in COVID times when people were not able to visit dental clinics for treatment. The aim of Denta Mitra is bring dentistry to our homes. The app is developed by Dr. Pranjan Mitra, an eminent Odia dentist and well- known Odia entrepreneur Satyajeet Pradhan.

Dr. Mitra and Mr. Pradhan are childhood friends and studied together at St. Vincent’s Convent School in Balasore. Later Dr. Pranjan became an awarded Public Health Dentist while Mr. Satyajeet has become a successful entrepreneur. Both of them met in Bengaluru and it kindled their childhood memories.

According to WHO, IDA guidelines in present COVID 19 times ,dental patients are advised not to visit dental clinics and hospitals unless it is an emergency due to the prevalence of the deadly virus.Keeping in view the misery of dental patients during COVID 19 lockdown , Dr. Pranjan thought of an app based solution which could solve the plight of dental patients at the comfort of their homes. So, he discussed and collaborated with his childhood buddy Satyajeet who is the Founder and CEO of Bizydale India ,a reputed tech company, thus Denta Mitra was born.

In this tooth friendly app one can get to know of their dental problems at their own comfort. Patients can consult Denta Mitra dental experts via video calling for their oral health problems. Within few months of its release , more than 1000 consultations have been provided so far. The app has start-of-art unique features , such as teledentistry, AI tooth scanner, oral health score , dental tips, reminders etc. Patients can easily diagnose cavities and other teeth problems using the AI scanner . The app helps us monitor our oral hygiene at our fingertips. The reminder’s section includes notifications to remind us of varousl oral hygiene activities such as brushing teeth twice a day and replacing toothbrushes after a few months.
