CM Mohan Majhi Visits Durga Puja Mandaps in Cuttack on Maha Navami

Cuttack: On the auspicious occasion of Maha Navami, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday visited several Durga Puja Mandaps across Cuttack to offer prayers and seek the blessings of Maa Durga.

The Chief Minister began his visit at the Pratap Nagari Durga Puja Mandap, before proceeding to other prominent locations including Nuapada, Nuabazar, Potapokhari, Chauliaganj, Jobra, College Chhak, Chhatra Bazar, Khan Nagar, Malgodown, Choudhury Bazar, Chandini Chowk, Shaikh Bazar, Bidanasi, and the CDA area.

At each venue, CM Majhi was warmly welcomed by members of the respective Puja committees. The city’s festive spirit was on full display, with large crowds gathering to greet the Chief Minister amid chants and devotional music.

To ensure smooth movement and public safety, the district administration had made elaborate security arrangements across the city during the visit.

Extending his Navratri greetings to the people of Odisha, the Chief Minister said, “The Goddess stands for our strength and protection. May She bring peace and happiness to everyone.”

CM Majhi was accompanied by Cuttack Sadar MLA Prakash Chandra Sethi, Cuttack District Collector Dattatraya Bhausaheb Shinde, BJP District President Sukanta Biswal, Nayan Kishore Mohanty, Dillip Mohanty, and several other dignitaries during the city-wide tour.
