Brahmapur–Bhubaneswar MEMU Services To Be Curtailed on Three Days

Bhubaneswar: Train passengers travelling between Bhubaneswar and Brahmapur have been advised to take note of temporary changes in MEMU services due to safety-related modernisation work in the Brahmapur–Rambha Down Line section under the Khurda Road Division of East Coast Railway.

As part of the scheduled work, Train No. 68411 Bhubaneswar–Brahmapur MEMU will operate only up to Khallikote on September 15, 16 and 19, 2026. The service will therefore be short terminated at Khallikote instead of reaching its scheduled destination at Brahmapur.

Similarly, Train No. 68412 Brahmapur–Bhubaneswar MEMU will commence its journey from Khallikote on the same three dates rather than originating from Brahmapur.

Consequently, the portion of both services between Khallikote and Brahmapur will remain cancelled on September 15, 16 and 19.

Railway authorities have urged passengers to factor the temporary changes into their travel plans and check the latest train status before leaving for their journey. Travellers can obtain updated information through the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) and other official railway enquiry channels.

The temporary curtailment has been announced to facilitate the modernisation work aimed at strengthening safety and operational infrastructure along the railway section.
