Bhubaneswar-Bangkok Flight Services Resume After Three-Month Hiatus

Bhubaneswar: International flight services between Bhubaneswar and Bangkok have resumed after remaining suspended since July.

Flight 1065 departed from Biju Patnaik International Airport for Bangkok at 11:05 pm on Friday, with the return flight leaving Bangkok at 5:30 am on Saturday.

Initially, the service will operate twice a week. Flights will depart Bhubaneswar on Friday and Monday nights, with return services on Saturday and Tuesday mornings.

From October 25, the schedule will change under the winter timetable, with operations shifting to daytime. The flight will arrive in Bhubaneswar at 11 am and depart for Bangkok at 1:35 pm.

The resumption is expected to benefit Bhubaneswar Airport, with the route having recorded strong passenger demand. Airport authorities are also working to introduce direct services to Dubai, while Singapore Airlines operations could be considered once passenger volumes reach the required level.
