BCJD stage protest in the front of FM College

Balasore: Following the unfortunate incident of the girl student’s self immolation bid, the Biju Chhatra Janata Dal has staged protest in the front of FM College.

Protests have been held demanding justice for the student who attempted to kill self. The party said that it is unfortunate that the government is not providing protection to the students.

BJD has demanded the arrest of those directly and indirectly involved in the incident, including the college president. In addition, who gave petrol to the student, who incited her to take her own life. BJD has asked for an investigation into this.

On the other hand, the condition of a Balasore FM College student undergoing treatment at Bhubaneswar AIIMS is critical. She is fighting for her life. About 95 percent of her body has been burnt.

The girl was a student of Balasore Fakir Mohan college. She was an Integrated B.Ed student. She attempted to kill self by setting herself on fire in the autonomous college after not getting justice for the torture allegations. She is undergoing treatment at the Bhubaneswar AIIMS Burn Unit in a critical condition.

An 8-member expert team is engaged for treatment. Further, she will be airlifted if required.
