Prohibitory order around exam centres in Dhenkanal

Surjit kumar Dhal, Dhenkanal, Feb 28: In the wake of reports about alleged unfair practices in HSC examination halls and centre premises , District administration has clamped 144 Crpc in many places to take strong action against those involved in such activities.

The District Administration has also decided to to stringent action against the teacher and invigilators if they suppressed information regarding unfair means adopted in the examination.

This issue was discussed threadbare at the District Coordination meeting chaired by the Collector Nikhil Pawan Kalyan.

Centre Superintendents  and District Education Offiers attended the meeting.

Notably, a barrage of allegations have come from the district over students adopting unfair means in the examination.

Board of Secondary Education has cancelled the English paper examination in Palasapithia high school centre in Bhuban on Monday following reports of malpractice and the FIR lodged by Superintendent Radhanath Jena.
