UAE Team Likely to Visit Odisha to Fast-Track Investments: CM Majhi

A UAE ministerial delegation is likely to visit Odisha soon to take forward investment proposals generated during Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi’s three-day UAE visit.Majhi said he has invited UAE Minister for Economy and Tourism Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, who has agreed to visit Odisha with his team. Discussions focused on investment opportunities in tourism, ports, skill development, green energy and other key sectors.

The UAE outreach attracted investment proposals worth around ₹2.43 lakh crore (₹2,43,162 crore). The Chief Minister said the priority now is to convert these proposals into concrete projects and create employment opportunities.

Majhi said the UAE engagement is part of Odisha’s Vision 2036 strategy and aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India by 2047.
