India Sends Fourth Flight of Humanitarian Aid to Nepal

India has sent its fourth flight carrying 11 tonnes of humanitarian assistance to Nepal. The relief flight landed in Kathmandu, where the aid was handed over to the Nepalese government for ongoing rescue and relief efforts.

External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar said in a social media post that the latest consignment includes essential supplies as well as technical capabilities to support Nepal’s emergency response operations.

With the latest delivery, India has now provided more than 68 tonnes of emergency relief material through four flights to assist Nepal during the ongoing crisis.
