India Begin T20 Asia Cup Campaign Against Thailand

India will begin their Women’s T20 Asia Cup campaign against Thailand today at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The match is scheduled to start at 8:30 PM IST.
Harmanpreet Kaur will lead the Indian team, while Smriti Mandhana has been named vice-captain. India will be aiming for a strong start after their group-stage exit from the T20 World Cup.

India are the most successful team in the history of the competition, having won three of the five editions held so far.
Thailand, meanwhile, enter the contest with confidence after defeating Hong Kong China in their opening match on Friday. India are placed in Group A alongside Thailand, Hong Kong and Pakistan in the eight-team Women’s T20 Asia Cup.
