Gunshot at Jajpur jwellery shop, over 4kg silver ornaments looted

Jajpur Town: A silver jewellery shop owner was reportedly shot at by miscreants at Shiva Chhak under Jajpur Sadar police limits  of Odisha’s Jajpur town.

The alleged miscreants had fled away with more than 4 kg of silver ornaments after looting the shop.

The incident occurred while Vijay Sahu owner of Maa Mangala Jewellery shop and his wife were coming after closing the shop.

According to sources, the miscreants opened fire at the shop owner and fled away with ornaments.

The health condition of shop owner is yet to be ascertained.

On being informed, Jajpur Sadar police reached the spot and initiated a probe into the matter.

Search is on to nab the accused.
