IMD Issues Nowcast Alert as Rain Continues Over Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday issued a nowcast warning for Bhubaneswar, forecasting light to moderate rainfall in the city over the next two to three hours.
In its weather bulletin released at 8:15 am, the IMD advised residents to remain vigilant and monitor changing weather conditions. Although no heavy rainfall has been predicted, people have been urged to exercise caution, particularly during morning travel and while engaging in outdoor activities.

The latest advisory comes as the southwest monsoon remains active across Odisha, bringing intermittent showers to several districts over the past few days. Weather officials have asked the public to stay updated with official forecasts and take necessary precautions in case of any sudden change in weather conditions.
