13 more students tested covid positive in a private college in silver city

Cuttack(Reporters Today Bureau): As many as 13 more tested Covid positive today of a private college in the silver city Cuttack.

Earlier on Thursday 12 students of the same private science college tested positive for Covid, after the students developed Covid 19 symptoms.

This has taken the tally up to 25

However, 71 extra samples of students of the same college had been sent for testing from which out of  13 tested positive on Friday.

In order to prevent the virus from spreading, the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) authorities have placed the students under quarantine in the college hostel.

The CMC has started contact tracing of the students as per the guidelines issued by the Health department and the entire area will be sanitized.
