Thailand Offers 30-Day Visa-Free Entry to Indians

Thailand will allow Indian tourists travelling on ordinary passports to enter the country without a visa and stay for up to 30 days, with the facility coming into effect from September 15.
According to the Indian Embassy in Thailand, travellers must have a passport valid for at least six months from the date of arrival, along with confirmed return tickets, hotel reservations and a clear travel itinerary.
Visitors are also required to complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card within 72 hours before their arrival through the official immigration website.

Tourists using the visa-free facility should carry at least 20,000 Thai Baht in cash per person and keep all supporting documents ready for immigration checks. For group travellers, each individual must carry their own documents.

The Embassy clarified that the visa exemption is meant only for eligible tourist visits. Those travelling to Thailand for employment or other purposes not covered by the scheme must obtain the appropriate visa. Travellers transiting through Thailand should also ensure they have the necessary documents and visas for their final destination.
