Sex Racket Busted in Ganjam, Six Arrested Including Kingpin

Bhubaneswar: Police have busted a sex racket in Odisha’s Ganjam district and arrested six persons, including the alleged kingpin.

The racket was being operated from a building at Sankha Sahi in the Bhanjanagar area. Acting on a tip-off, a team from Bhanjanagar police station led by Sub-Inspector Samir Kumar Sethi conducted a raid at the premises.

During the raid, police arrested the kingpin, four customers, and a woman present at the spot. Liquor bottles, cigarettes, and other objectionable items were seized from the building.

The accused were later produced before a local court.

According to police, the arrested woman is a native of Khurda district and had been staying in the Bhanjanagar area for the past several days. Further investigation is underway.
