Passenger Bus Crashes into Tree in Kendujhar: One Critical, Six Hurt
A passenger bus carrying 50 travellers from Jharsuguda to Bhadrak lost balance near Ghasiapura market in Kendujhar and crashed into a roadside tree.
The accident left one passenger critically injured, and six others hurt. The critically injured victim was shifted to SCB Medical College in Cuttack for advanced treatment.
The bus, packed with commuters, struck the tree close to a petrol pump. Local residents rushed to the site and helped rescue the injured passengers. Police reached the spot and coordinated the transfer of victims to nearby hospitals.
Eyewitnesses reported that the driver lost control of the vehicle, leading to the collision. The accident caused panic among passengers, though most escaped with minor injuries. Authorities confirmed that the bus was en route to Bhadrak with nearly 50 passengers on board.
