Rs 5 lakh cash, gold jewellery stolen in Kotpad house burglary

Kotpad: Burglars are reported to have run away with Rs 5 lakh cash, gold jewelery in lakhs from a house in Kotpad town of Odisha’s Koraput district on Sunday.

As per sources, the intruders broke into the house of Shubham Subrata at about midnight using a window to make their way into the house.

The house was allegedly robbed using a key manipulation tool to open the almirah the family had.

On being informed, Kotpad police rushed to the spot and initiated a probe into the matter.

Police are now interrogating various persons in this connection.

The family of the victim has requested the Police to apprehend the burglars at the earliest and get back the cash and ornaments.
