Odisha to Launch ‘Seva Setu’ From October 1

Odisha will run the ‘Seva Setu’ campaign from October 1 to 10 to provide eligible citizens easier access to government schemes and services at a single location.
The initiative is part of the ongoing ‘Seva Sankalp’ campaign, being observed from September 17 to October 17. H&UD Minister Dr. Krushna Chandra Mahapatra, the state coordinator, said Seva Setu will help citizens get information, register for schemes, submit applications and complete necessary formalities without making repeated visits to different offices.

Seva Setu camps will be held at the block level in every Assembly constituency, while Seva Setu Kendras will be established in blocks and Assembly constituencies to provide information and application assistance under one roof.
The government has also planned beneficiary databases, nodal officers, inter-departmental coordination and required manpower and logistics to ensure smooth implementation.
The campaign aims to identify eligible people and connect them with Central and State welfare schemes and essential services in a timely and transparent manner.
