FASTag Annual Passes Cross One Crore Mark

The number of FASTag Annual Passes issued across the country has crossed the one-crore mark, since its launch on August 15, 2025, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways said.

The Annual Pass allows eligible non-commercial vehicle owners with a valid FASTag to travel through around 1,150 fee plazas on National Highways and National Expressways through a one-time payment of ₹3,075, valid for one year or 200 toll plaza crossings, whichever comes first.

The pass is activated electronically on the vehicle’s existing FASTag after payment through the Rajmargyatra app, eliminating the need for a separate toll pass or repeated toll payments.

The ministry said the scheme aims to simplify toll payments and make highway travel more convenient and economical, while also encouraging greater use of electronic toll collection.
