Odisha cadre IAS officer Saurabh Garg appointed as CEO of UIDAI

Bhubaneswar(Reporters Today Bureau): Odisha cadre IAS officer Saurabh Garg has been appointed as Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He currently serves as Principal Secretary of the Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment.

The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (CAA) has approved the posting of Shri Garg.

“Shri Saurabh Garg, IAS (OR:91) presently in the cadre, as Chief Executive Officer, Unique Identification Authority of India, in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary,” said an order issued by the Government of India.

Besides, Odisha cadre IAS officer Santosh Kumar Sarangi, Additional Secretary of the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, has been given additional charge of the post of Chairman, National Council for Teacher Education.
