Modi turns 69, B’day wishes pour in Social media

(Reporters Today, Bhubaneswar): Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned 69 on Tuesday. Several eminent personalities of different field including many Political leaders wished him on his birthday. Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar greeted him on this occasion.

Modi will be spending the day in his home State, Gujurat. He had received a warm welcome upon his arrival in Ahmedabad on Monday night.

On Tuesday his schedule includes a visit to the Sardar Sarovar Dam on river Narmada , whose water level has reached its highest mark for the first time, to kickoff “Namami Narmade”festival.  After visiting the dam the Prime Minister would address a gathering. Then, Modi would inspect some ongoing developmental projects near the dam and the Statue of Unity. He is also expected to visit the temple of Lord Dattatreya at Garudeshwar village near Kevadiya.

Several Ministers and Senior BJP leaders took it to social media to wish Prime Minister Modi. Whereas, hashtags related to Modi’s birthday are tending on twitter. Meanwhile, the BJP is celebrating Modi birthday as ‘Seva Saptah’.
