Man Kills Mother in Drunken Rage in Sundargarh, Arrested

Sundargarh: A tragic incident unfolded on Saturday night in Tumulia Nuapada village under Talsara police station limits, where a man allegedly killed his mother in a drunken rage.

According to sources, the accused, known for frequent alcohol consumption, had a heated argument with his mother and attacked her with a stick while intoxicated. She died on the spot. Neighbours, alerted by her cries, rushed to the scene and informed the police.

The accused has been detained, and the police have launched an investigation. The body of the deceased has been sent for postmortem examination.
