Four injured as auto-rickshaw hits bridge in Khordha

Khordha: As many as four people including the driver sustained critical injuries after the auto-rickshaw in which they were travelling hit a bridge in Balugaon of Khordha district today.

As per reports, a group of people were travelling from Kharibandha village to Ashoknagar area of Balugaon in the auto-rickshaw this morning.

However, the three-wheeler rammed into a bridge near Chhedapadar village. As a result, all the occupants of the auto were thrown out of the vehicle and subsequently were injured.

All the injured were rescued by the locals and initially were admitted at Balugaon Hospital for treatment. Later, they were shifted to a hospital in Bhubaneswar as their condition deteriorated.

Sources revealed that the driver is from Kharibandha area in Balugaon and the other three women are from Ashoknagar area.
