Forest guard suspended in Hindol elephant burial case

Hindol: Forest Department takes another step in elephant burial case in Dhenkanal district of Odisha, suspended forest guard.
As per reports, the Dhenkanal Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) suspended one forest guard for negligence in duty while handling the elephant case in the Hindol farmhouse.
The officer has been identified as Balabhadra Mohanty, a forest guard posted at Sinkol.
Previously, forester of Hindol forest range Dipti Ranjan Acharya had been suspended for his involvement in the case.
This case is being highly talked about by locals and wildlife lover of the area, as one elephant was allegedly killed and then buried at one farmhouse at Hindol.
However, the forest department has maintained the investigation process is still ongoing and that it will bring forward any more officials who would be found to be involved in this heinous crime.
