Diploma Student Held in Drugs Smuggling Case

(Adarsh Rout) Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police seized total 124 grams of the contraband item and arrested three persons following two separate raids in a smuggling case here today.

The police nabbed three persons, including a Diploma student in this row. Sources said a Quick Action Team with the help of police conducted a raid in Saheed Nagar locality and seized 100 gram brown sugar worth Rs 10 lakh. The narcotic item was trafficked to Capital from Balasore.

The police also detained one person in this connection. In yet another incident, the Chandrasekharpur police seized 24 gram brown sugar from Patia area and arrested two youth, including a Diploma student in this connection.
