DIG Reviews Kartika Purnima Security at Puri Temple

Puri: In view of the upcoming Kartika Purnima celebrations, Central Range DIG Dr. Satyajit Naik today visited the Puri Jagannath Temple to review security arrangements.

Accompanied by SP Puri Prateek Singh and other senior officials, Dr. Naik inspected the deployment of personnel and assessed preparations to ensure a smooth and safe darshan for devotees. The security measures include 24 platoons of forces, 4 Additional SPs, 15 DSPs/ACs, 14 Inspectors, 65 Sub-Inspectors, 18 Havildars, 99 Constables, and 44 Lady Home Guards.

Dr. Naik emphasized maintaining law and order, effective crowd management, and providing assistance to visitors. He also appealed to the public to cooperate with the police and follow guidelines to ensure a peaceful celebration.

The police administration reiterated its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all devotees during the festival, urging everyone to participate with devotion and discipline.
