Dhenkanal Woman Killed Over Chicken Curry Dispute

Dhenkanal: A shocking incident unfolded in Sadangi village under Gondia police limits in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district, where a woman lost her life after failing to prepare chicken curry as per her husband’s demand.

According to reports, the victim, Suniti Pingua, was allegedly slapped by her husband, Jena Pingua, after he found that chicken curry was missing from his plate. The slap was so forceful that she collapsed and died on the spot. The incident occurred last night in Munda Basti of the village.

Neighbors, upon learning about the incident, informed the police. They also alleged that Jena was inebriated at the time of the attack.

Upon receiving information, police reached the scene and sent the body for post-mortem. Official sources confirmed that Jena has been arrested and has confessed to the crime during interrogation.
