Cuttack Traffic Restrictions On November 11 For Kali Puja Idol Immersion

Cuttack: The Commissionerate Police has imposed traffic restrictions across Cuttack city on November 11 in view of the immersion procession of Goddess Kali.

The restrictions will remain in force from 7 am until the conclusion of the immersion festival. Several roads and junctions will be diverted or restricted to facilitate the smooth movement of immersion processions and ensure public safety.

Devotees have been advised to use designated parking facilities at locations including Upper and Lower Bali Jatra Grounds, Ravenshaw Collegiate School field, Christian Ground, Shaheed Bhavan, INOX parking and other designated spots across the city.

Emergency vehicles, including police, fire services and ambulances, will remain exempt from the restrictions.

The Commissionerate Police has urged commuters to plan their journeys accordingly. Violations will attract action under Section 96 of the Odisha Urban Police Act, 2003.
