CM Majhi’s Flight Diverted to Kolkata Due to Bad Weather in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi’s return flight from New Delhi to Bhubaneswar was diverted to Kolkata on Friday morning owing to adverse weather conditions over the state capital.

According to Minister Krushna Chandra Patra, the Chief Minister was scheduled to land at the Biju Patnaik International Airport but heavy weather prevented the aircraft from touching down, forcing it to reroute to Kolkata.

After weather conditions improved, the Chief Minister returned to Bhubaneswar safely later in the day.

Majhi had been in New Delhi on a four-day official visit, where he attended a series of high-level meetings.
