CM Majhi to Launch ₹28,120 Cr Industrial Projects in Ganjam

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is set to lay the foundation stones for 12 major industrial projects worth ₹28,120 crore at Chhatrapur in Ganjam district today, marking a significant step towards the state’s economic transformation.
According to the Industries Department, these projects are expected to generate employment for approximately 15,455 people across sectors such as green energy, chemicals, and infrastructure.

Among the key ventures are Ocior Energy Private Limited’s green hydrogen and green ammonia plant, Petronet LNG Limited’s LNG terminal, UPL Limited’s specialty chemicals project, and HHP Five Private Limited’s green energy project. Additionally, green energy equipment manufacturing facilities by Saatvik Solar Industries Private Limited and World Green Energy Private Limited are also part of the industrial package.
Highlighting the importance of the event, Industries Minister Sampad Chandra Swain stated in a social media post on X, “Odisha is moving ahead with strong industrial growth. Come, be part of the progress as Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi lays the foundation for 12 major industrial projects at Chhatrapur, Ganjam—a big step towards inclusive development and economic transformation in the state.”
The initiative underlines the state’s commitment to becoming a hub for sustainable and advanced industrial development.
