Chief Secretary Confirms No Fuel Shortage in State

Odisha Chief Secretary Anu Garg clarified that the state faces no fuel crisis, assuring citizens that petrol, diesel, LPG, and urea supplies remain stable.
She made the statement after a high‑level meeting on the petroleum situation.
Garg urged people not to crowd fuel stations unnecessarily, stressing that supplies are adequate across districts. She warned that anyone found hoarding fuel illegally will face strict action. District Collectors have been directed to monitor the situation closely and take immediate steps against violators.
Officials emphasised that the government has coordinated with oil companies to ensure uninterrupted distribution. The administration reiterated that panic buying or spreading rumours could create artificial shortages, which must be avoided.
