Bolero Crashes into Roadside House in Ganjam
A Bolero carrying eight passengers met with an accident near Mathura village, four kilometres from Polasara, around 5 a.m. on Friday.
The vehicle, returning from Puri after a Jagannath temple visit, belonged to a family from Jalakhai village under Buguda block in Ganjam district. Witnesses said the driver lost control when he reportedly dozed off, causing the Bolero to crash into a roadside house.
All eight passengers sustained injuries. Local residents rushed to help and transported the victims to the nearby group health centre. Doctors confirmed that the injuries were minor and discharged all passengers after providing primary treatment.
The incident created panic in the area, but relief followed once doctors assured that no one was seriously hurt. Police from Polasara station reached the spot and began investigating the circumstances of the crash.
