Bhubaneswar’s Patha Utsav Set To Begin On Jan 4

Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has announced the return of its much-loved street festival, Patha Utsav, with the new season set to begin on January 4, 2026.
Sharing the update on X, the BMC invited residents to participate, stating, “Get ready to witness the first ‘Patha Utsav’ of the season this Sunday, January 4, 2026. Join us!”

The opening event will be held on Janpath, stretching from Master Canteen Square to Ram Mandir Square, on January 4. Subsequent editions of the festival are scheduled at Jagamara on January 18 and in the Infocity area on February 1.
Organised during early winter mornings starting at 6 am, Patha Utsav will feature a wide range of activities, including music and dance performances, fashion shows, Zumba sessions, a dedicated kids’ zone, and face painting. Visitors can also enjoy traditional games, arts and crafts stalls, rangoli, skating, mehendi, yoga, and karate demonstrations.
The festival will conclude with a special showcase titled ‘Bhubaneswar’s Got Talent’, highlighting local performers and creative talent.
BMC has encouraged citizens to actively participate and experience the city’s vibrant cultural life through the festival.
